How can I prevent students from adding entries in database?

To have a database in which only teachers can add entries, but students can view the entries.

1. Go to databse.
2. Then click on Permissions link in the settings under Database activity administration.
3. Remove students from the capability 'Write Entries' mod/data:writeentry by clicking the 'X' next to student.
4. 
5. Click the continue button to confirm.
